Headlights

Recently my headlights went out. I have changed the headlamp relay and the dimmer switch is good. I use the Clymer book for info. . Can anyone tell me where the lighting switch is located as stated in this book. Thank You

Re: Headlights

What motorcycle do you have?

Seems stupid but have you tested your bulbs?

Re: Headlights

I have a 2003 CBR 600 F4i. Yes the lamps are good. If I put a jumper across the headlight relay the lights come on and the dimmer switch works the hi-lo beams. According to the Clymer repair manual the wiring diagram shows another switch called the Lighting switch and I can't locate it. any ideas?

Re: Headlights

I've never heard of the Clymer Repair Manuals and the only switch I can think of is the ones on the handle bars...

Have you tested to make sure whether power is reaching the plugs?

Re: Headlights

I found the problem from another member. The ground came off the ignition switch which controls the lights. I re-soldered and everything works. Thanks for your help.
