| ECU changin? I have a 2003 cbr 600f4i. Somehow managed to melt my ecu. How do I fit my HISS to new ecu? Is it possible to change with power comander? Will the wiring fit ?  | |

 | Re: ECU changin? if you have a HISS bike you need to have it programmed to your key (i believe) need to ask this to bladeracer, he's your european doctor....

| Re: ECU changin? Right... The Hiss system is linked between the ECU and the chip within the key. You basically need an existing key before you can add another on to the ECU - this is where Honda's system is bulletproof although can be a pain if a genuine owner loses his/her key. When you buy a brand new ECU they do not come with any keys - how to get a key coded is beyond me - the dealers may have a special device etc.
