F2 cylinder #2 not firing, gas overflow from carb #2

I have a 94 F2 that's been giving me absolute fits lately. Recently it took a big crap while i was driving down the freeway. It ran on Ether, so I knew it had to be a fuel issue. I checked the fuel lines and cleaned the petcock diaphragm and it started right up... but had a pretty serious miss, was leaking out of the #1+2 carb breather hose and is blowing smoke(not blue). I dashed a bit of water on the headers and noticed the #2 cylinder isn't firing. I replaced plugs(they had some heavy buildup), but it's still doing it.

Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe a float valve?

Float valve would be my guess. Suggest you do a full (all 4) carb cleaning and then synch them

[quote=Wolverine09;835577]...leaking out of the #1+2 carb breather hose and is blowing smoke... noticed the #2 cylinder isn't firing...but it's still doing it.

These symptoms indicate one (or more) float valves stuck open. Sounds like you have a lot of CRAP in the fuel tank. Clean out the ENTIRE fuel system (tank, carbs, lines, etc.). Use carb cleaner & compressed air.
