My 2002 F4I is frustrating me to no end

Hi there I bought my first motorcycle a few months ago with intentions of fixing it and getting a damn fine motorcycle for cheap. So I buy it from some scum bag who tells me that the battery is dead, and as soon as I get a new battery it will run like a dream. Well I bought a new battery and it didn't start.
Everything works fine, but it doesn't get gas for sure. I also believe that it is not getting spark. I fixed the ignition, changed spark plugs, tested for shorts along the entire wiring harness, and jumped the bank sensor.

I have read almost all of the posts on this issue and tried to use you guy's fixes, but nothing has managed to get it to actually run. I really don't want to pay someone else to finish my project. I'm sure some one here can help me

first we need to know if it has spark....go by a spark tester from your local part store, it will have an adjustable gap, just set it for the recommended specs for your bike, if we can get spark, then we will go from there.....

also, have you checked the switch on the handle bars (on/off push switch) it may have shorted

I did not get a spark when I tested it with a normal spark plug but I will for sure try an actual tester

If there is no spark with a regular spark plug outside the cylinder, there certainly won't be any with a tester as it is much more difficult for spark to fire across a tester plug.
Others may have some ideas but sounds like it's time to get the shop manual out and start with No Start diagnostics. Get one if you don't already have one. Worth their weight in gold for everything.
Have you checked all connections and fuses?
Any info from the previous owner may help as well.
