CBR 600 F3 - Smoking Joes

Today I scored a CBR 600F3 Smoking Joes Edition which was Miguel Duhamels' endorsed/sig bike. I've loved the color scheme on them since I started biking and I found one in near mint condish for a steal of a price. Only drawback was to drive 95 miles to pick it up and ride 95 miles back home.

Here are some pics the seller took. I'll take some tomorrow as the sun has already set here in LA.

Initial impressions - wow. I love it. So smooth and powerful. No issues with suspension and no shakes on the freeway. The larger tires and the great suspension just rock. So much better than my old ninja 250 - although I think I'm a lot better rider cuz of the 250.

Wooohoooo

Thanks - Its just freaking gorgeous. I love it. Only thing I gotta figure out how to open up the seat to put my insurance paper etc - doesn't seem to be a latch or key lock.

Re: CBR 600 F3 - Smoking Joes

Thanks jazzy - looking for a rear swing arm stand as I gotta change the oil in it to. Going to switch it over to synthetic.

What are some cheap options for a standard rear arm stand (ie: without spools)?

I'd say around 40$US, here's just an option HERE. Best just run a search on the internet looking for rear stands

Thanks for the suggestion. I've actually found out that Harbor Freight has cheap stands and I'll be going in today to check them out. My other option are T-Rex stands off ebay. Apparently from searching the web they are like PitBulls but cheaper.

My Smokin Joe has a centre stand as well as a side stand standard - I'm sure there's not a difference between the US and Aussie ones like that? I use the centre stand for oil changes/chain cleaning etc
