... I'd start by rearanging the fairing... say into the nearest bin

then stand back and see what you got to work with

pick a head set lights risers bars rip your faring off put all your new stuff on start it up i would say at about 2am hit the first big city you can get to and rip it up did my 1992 cbr 900 its so much more fun :-)

IMO-- Keep the rear fairings and rip apart everything from the middle to front-- Take out the front fairings, replace the headlight with some twin round bulbs-- Take out that dash! Get some AM speedometers/tach-- you can even buy some combo ones with digital fuel management, tach, speed, etc, but that will be a little more expensive. Then get yourself a nice shortcut exhaust and you'll be cruising like a badass in no time at all!
