Hey guys, been scanning through the forums here and have not found any answers that fit my problem. So, I'd like to run it by some more experienced folks
I have an 01 F4i with about 15k miles on it. Recently I was riding along and, as is often the case here in Florida during the summer, I was caught in an afternoon shower. It wasn't raining very hard, but I noticed shortly after the rain started falling that the bike was running a bit rough. In fact, the engine sounded different...almost like a vtwin engine.
Along the way, the engine's response was becoming more and more sluggish. I was at about 1/4 a tank of gas and fearing that somehow water got into the gas. So, I stopped at a gas station along the way and filled her up. The bike at this point was very hesitant to even fire up. So I got it back home. I left it running for a few minutes after getting home, thinking that if there was something foreign in the fuel, it would likely get burned up.
Since the point I turned it off, I have been unable to get it to start again for more than a moment. I'd been having issues with my battery prior to this, it wasn't holding a charge. It was old so I think this was unrelated. Either way, I replaced the battery.
When I turn the key on, the fuel pump audibly primes. I've checked all of the fuses. I've checked the kill switch, flipping it on and off and so forth. Nothing has helped so far.
My scope of mechanical knowledge is about average, so I am behind the curve most likely. But, as best I can tell, if one of the spark plugs has gone bad then the bike should still start. It seems like the issue is fuel delivery related...but that is just my guess. I took a vid of me trying to get it to fire, here is a link

Sorry for the wall of text, I just wanted to provide as much detail as possible.
Thanks for any help you guys can offer, it is much appreciated!
