F3 issue

I have a problem with the rev counter on my F3. Rides fine revs up fine (straight up and down) but when riding the needle will get upto 3900 revs and then starts jumping 3500 - 4500 revs and will do this until it gets upto 4100 revs and is then smooth again. It has no effect on the engine of how it rides. Not sure if just an electrical glitch. It does not do it every time but is getting more common.

Any ideas?

Re: F3 issue

Could be the ground wire for the tach... Check and make sure it's not loose! Hope that helps
