1998 Honda CBR 600F3

Hey all,

I have been riding about 6 months. I moved to Atlanta and had my bike shipped from Seattle. I am not real familiar with the 'whole maintenance of my bike thing', but I do know how to change the oil, replace coolant, and lube the chain. My bike just arrived and for some reason the running lights and brights won't turn on. The indicator light doesn't light up either? But my tail light is running and all the other indicators turn on.

Does this mean the bulb just burned out? And if so do I replace that myself or should I go get it fixed?

I have been waiting a month and a half for my to arrive so I just want it fixed so I can ride!

Thanks!

Firstly

Re the lights, personally I'd check the fuses first as a blown fuse is the likeliest culprit from what you have said..

Re: 1998 Honda CBR 600F3

ok this may sound stupid but i just spent the last hour looking for the fuse box. i bought this bike and it already had a fender eliminator kit. is it possible he moved the fuse box? i took off the rear fenders and the seat and there is nothing next to the battery. i am wondering if it is under the gas tank and if I can even get to that without messing my bike up?

Thanks!

My fuse box on my 400, and the other halfs on his big blade is up front, in the front fairing, around the headlights.. You may want to look round that area..

Although the 600's could be different of course.. but have a look anyway..

It's on the right hand side upper fairing - small rectangular panel with a screw. Look under there
