| CBR600 f4 vs f4i Hi all,
I've recently passed my DAS and after owning a CBR125 R-4 for almost about 8months and doing over 5000mi I'm looking to make the jump to a CBR600f.
Herein lies the problem, my budget will allow for a CBR600f of the 1999-2002 era which has two models to choose from, the f4 or the f4i. I'm not sure if there are any real reasons I should specifically go for the f4 over the f4i or vice-versa?
I've ridden both carb. and fuel injected bikes (however the FI was BRAND new so probably not the fairest comparison) and my natural reaction would be to go for the f4i, but again, I don't know the pro's and con's of each generation so any constructive input would be amazing!
I do all my own maintenance so I'm sort of leaning towards the the f4 at the moment but the f4i's have a digital speedo and look that little bit better in the front end imo..
looking forward to any and all posts!

| Re: CBR600 f4 vs f4i Personally I wouldn't be swayed by the injected / non-injected models and would simply go for the best bike I can find for my money - be it an F4 of F4i. I would imagine they are pretty similar in performance terms. |

I managed to keep up with the lads on the 900's So performance wise compared to the F4i...I dont think there would be that much in it. Find a good deal and test ride the bike to find one that suits YOU best
