Bike Dies At 230 degrees??

The engine cuts off when bike is idle at about 220 and 230 degrees mainly when im on the streets at a red light never while on the move i actually got back to the house let in idle in the driveway and it would cut off about 2-4 mins into letting it sit, ive checked coolant levels everything is fine actually toped off coolant level wait about and hour or two then went back on the rode and the bike did it again at a red light (was actually next to a hottie in a new black audi and i looked like a dumbassfor staling the bike)
just start happening today idk if bike overheated and died or wat but it stays on when i keep the RPM's up but dies in an idle RPM's start dippin below 1RPM then just cuts.....
fan is running, also might lights dim when i ride at low idle (could it be battery issue??)
all hose are intact and no cracks even went as far to check all fluids including oil, radiator, break, and coolant...
in advance thanks for the help

2-4 min after its fully warmed up? Or from the second you turn on the bike?

Re: Bike Dies At 230 degrees??

i actually already figured it out it was actually a throttle issue my throttle was running on the low end and when the bike would get hot it would try to drop the RPM's to cool off a little so i set higher throttle idle and so far no issues what so ever.... actually runs better brought idle up to bout 1.5 1.2 RPM's the original owner had it sitting at 1RPM a little under so i just adjusted it and its working just fine now
but thanks

The idle should be about 1200-1400RPM (give or take a bit)
