92 F2 Elect. Issue

To start I have done contiunuity tests on every lead related to the start and running of the engine including checking the diode, starter relay, safety switches and fuses.

What's happening is I set up to start the bike and when I push the starter button the relay does its click and at that same moment the power shuts completely off. The only way I can even try again is to disconnect the battery for half a minute. I'm almost certain it is the relay. Maybe I should pull the starter out and have that checked.

Ijust wanted to get some viable opinions being that it will be awhile before I can dive into the bike again.

Re: 92 F2 Elect. Issue

then you gotta have a problem from the sender to the the starter, in this case from the starter relay onwards. I appreciate you have checked everything out with a multi-meter, but you may have a short somewhere, or a problem with the ground/earth ?
