| 600RR Seat Last night was the first time I'd ever sat on a 600RR. And I thought the stock 929 seat was bad. |

| Re: 600RR Seat Yeah, it's truly a race bike seat, not a combo race/touring/street seat like the previous ones attempted to be. |

| Re: 600RR Seat I didn't look real close at it. Is it a seat that can be taken off, and an aftermarket one (Sargent, Corbin) put on? |

| Re: 600RR Seat I found it easier on my bum than the 929 seat. Had no problems on my iron butt this summer. I could not stand the 929 for more than 100-150 miles at a time, I HAD to get off. It seems worse right off the bat, but it's actually made of better material me thinks |

It's definately wider than the seat on the Ninja 250. That, coupled with it having a seat height that is about 1-1.5" higher makes it impossible for the GF to touch the ground firmly. |

A friend of mine (short guy) had to have his F4i lowered even after he shaved the seat. |

| Re: 600RR Seat Yeah...one of the first things I noticed also when I sat the on the 600RR for the first time....the seat was hard as hell!!! a big turn-off to me...with that said, I'm sure it gets better with time Hopefully, the seat on the 1000RR will be a bit better(although I doubt it...it'll probably be the same seat as on the 600RR).... |

how about the 599? still a very cool machine, with no plastic if/when a drop occurs. |

| Some of the older bikes have a lower ground clearance. I know my g/f is 5'2" and she can sit on my Seca II with little problem and my 5'1" sister has taken it out and had no problems stopping and all on it. |
