I here you, around here they use cinder on our mountain roads this time of year, much more plentiful and undoubtedly cheaper thanks to our volcanic region. Doesn't cause corrosion, just paint pitting and red grit and grime everywhere, and tends to migrate to there center and shoulders, so you want to watch your line or it can step out on you real quick. I guess it's better than black ice though. There's a lot of shaded corners that the overnight ice doesn't melt in all day, and since crashing sucks...

Aye , it's a bit of a difference living in sunny California and next to LA , all we got is Rainy Manchester and I hate United, but I got a Lottery ticket for to-night and who knows , would make my home in New England and thats a fact. Bill

Good weathers back ,so got rid of the Triumph so I can get back in the workshop, waiting on a few parts so decided to make myself a Peak Voltage Adaptor, with thanks to Metalv from the Honda ATV Forum, parts were so cheap, but needed a Multi Meter with 60Mohms impedance, £11 for that but all the rest just cost £7 for 10 resistors ,10 capacitors and 10 switches (only need one of each for this)Button is there to discharge any power left in the capacitor (save you getting a shock)
