I've seen a couple over here, on both CBR and VFR 400s. Are you planning to fit one to your bike then? More bling, eh?

Not quite bling.. some of the roads round here have pretty horrific seams in the tarmac and I personally dont like having the steering twitch when I go over them.. Could just be an inexperience thing but I notice it so much more on the baby blade than I ever did on my 125.. So I'm thinking about a steering damper.. I havent found a specific one for my bike so may have to look at universal ones..

You should check out some of the holes, ruts and seams we get over here. They'd turn your hair white But I always thought a steering damper dealt with torque steer rather than bumps in the road

OH reckons it will help cut down on steering wobbles caused by tarmac seams, etc., as well...
