Track day, sucess or failure?

LOL just got back from my track day, had the most fun ive ever had on my road bike, got to chase the fast guys in "A" grade through the windy stuff but alas ended up pushing a bit hard and low sided on the exit of a 2nd gear corner from to much power on or too much lean in or a subtle combination of both. either way was great fun and didnt damage too much, need a new brake lever and indicator to be legal again, could use a new muffler and respray of the fairing and tank. but i feel it was worth it. i never knew just how much grip you had on a smooth dry track man ya have to be a long way over for the tyre to slip. such exciting fun, i definatly recommend everyone trys this at least once!!

do they run the numbers backwards down there? up here A group is the super fast guys and a novice first timer would never be running with them.

nope, A is the fast guys. we have A B and C. there are no racers only road riders. you pick your class based on your confidence basicly and i did B for a while but got annoyed being held up by groups so i had a go in A which was ok on everything but the front straight.
