derestricting a nc29

hi all id like to know if anyone out there has derestricted an nc29 as far as i know its throught the clocks and removing the speedo cable works im just curious if anyones done this and if ani1 has ani good performance mods

The easiest way to do it is to buy a kph to mph speedo converter (im presuming your speedo is in kph like mine). I know theres one made by Motax and you can normally find them on ebay. They simply plug in between your existing cable and the dials and change the dial to mph meaning that 180 kph becomes 180 mph so the limiter is never reached. My friend did this on his vfr400 when he was using it on the track and it worked absolutely fine. Only downside is that it will affect the odometer since it will now be measuring in miles not kilometers

No worries mate, saw one on ebay go for about 35 quid to give you a rough idea of price
