| head gasket for nc29 i was just wondering if anyone knows a site where i can order a head gasket set and if anyonne has done this recently i was just wondering if i need to get the head skimmed or will it be ok i have replaced head gaskets on bigger bikes so im not sure how bad my bike will be any solutions appriciated |

I had mine skimmed when the valves were done years ago, but you will need to get it done professionally and take only the bearest minimum off if you or the company that does the work can't source a thicker gasket. |

| Re: head gasket for nc29 in addition to Surffrog's statement, make sure you check the gear clearances when you reassemble it. The '29 cams snap very easily (I learned this the hard way), so if the head is skimmed and you end up with too much pressure on the cam, you're going to get high wear rates or a broken cam.
Too bad honda cast in the cam holders instead of making them separate like they did on the nc30/35's.... |
