What is the exhaust diameter piping for the NC29 CBR400RR?

Hello everyone, my name is Alan. I'm new to the board. i just bought a CBR400RR recently and the exhaust on it is quite loud (a little too loud for my liking). Do you guys know what the diameter is for the exhaust piping? I'm thinking of replacing the can with something more stealth. Some guy locally is selling a mint Akrapovic pipe for a good price.

I'll see if I can find out.. It's a shame you're so far away or I would have the noisy one off you... I think mines way too quiet

i have a question,, would do teh bike harm if i removed the end can ,,(other than being extremely loud?)

No it wont harm your bike if you do remove the can and keep the manifold on.
You will certainly lose back pressure and it will be ridiculously loud. I've started my bike in the process of changing exhausts and it is very loud.

thanx man for ur reply ,,some told me that the lost back pressure can damage the engine though but i`ll take ur word
