What oil do you use with your CBR 400

While browsing about for some info I caught onto this page:

Honda JDM CBR's - FAQ's & Factsheets

It says that semi-synthetic oil is best for CBR 400s.
Apparently fully synthetic causes clutch slip / drag.

I always put Mobile 1 super synthetic oil into my bike. This is on the strong recommendation from the mechanic I bought it off. He says that due to the age of the engine and climate of Thailand it needs the best of the best.
I've checked it out that this oil is the same stuff ferrari's and aston martins etc use!

That's my thoughts. What about yours?

Using Castrol Power 1 GPS semi synth, seems ok, still looks ok, not had to add any extra even after 10 months its the same amount on he stick as the day I put it in.

I think I have the same in mine... I can't remember

I googled photos of it and it looks like the same stuff.. I put it in my bike when I first got it (did full service) and it didn't drink a drop in a year

I used it in my CBR 400, too. Using mobil 1 is fine if it isn't causing clutch slip. I've heard quite a few people say they use it here in Thailand. The only thing you have to be aware of is that Mobil 1 burns off quick. It's not your rings it's the oil itself, so don't use it if you're the sort of person who doesn't check the oil around twice a month.

If that all seems too much, I would recommend Shell helix ultra 5w40. It Fully synthetic, doesn't cause clutch slip and doesn't burn off as quick. The trade off is that you don't get quite the same level of protection as Mobil 1.
