| Just put a deposit on this CBR400 which model is it exactly ? i would like to introduce myself, im 17, from bournemouth - dorset, have my full test for the 2nd time on thursday due to a silly silly mistake which could of been avoided lol, life goes on tho HONDA CBR400 WITH NC30 SINGLE SIDED SWING ARM IMMAC on eBay (end time 02-Nov-09 19:36:04 GMT)
above is the link for the CBR
i managed to get her for a fair price of £1000, she has a full proffesional respray, clean and tidy, starts at the touch of the button, engine sounds sweet and gears seem fine, it also has a handmade exhaust which gets a few heads turning
your help would be thankful |

| Re: Just put a deposit on this CBR400 which model is it exactly ? Not sure what they are worth (Loopy will be able to give you a better insight into them) but for that price it seems quite far IMO.
It's always the case where you never get a dodgy driver until your test date - then your surrounded by them.

Needless to say I didn't do that on my 2nd test although I got a couple of minors 2nd time round for not going fast enough.... I don't do that any more either Quote: |
and do you think the CBR was worth the money?

| Re: Just put a deposit on this CBR400 which model is it exactly ? hope you past test, nice example. dont know about the 1000 pound cost, he seemed to be making up for the paint job, since youve bought it i hope (it was one of the first things i noticed) youve got an under tray for the tail as it seems to be missing. be wary of 'handmade' pipes as when you come to MOT it will be at the testers discresion whether to pass it or not (no BS stamp on it).
plain white paint job implies that it may have been down the road and hes replaced with mixed panels and had resprayed (plain white being easy and cheapest option pre sale.
i know this all sounds bad but its what sellers will do and spin to make a sale.
the main point is, and not a lot else matters, is that your happy with it? |

By the time we have the clear car track, the snow on the main roads has gone.. |
