| Re: Long time coming.... Hmmm...just a thought but wanted to let you know that HGToo traded in her leathers to Vanson. They're the same ones that Firefly wore at Grattan last year. Maybe they'd be available for purchase. Just an idea....especially if she's going to be riding at Grattan. |

Abtech...Wow! I didn't think anything could top that 2-up session from last year but that did it! Thanks for the offer! I highly doubt it'll happen...but thanks for throwing it out there!

| Re: Long time coming.... Then you should get leathers! Seriously, I ride with a 'stich or leathers on the street, too. For street riding I'd consider a full-circumference two-piece, as it could also be used on the track in the future. Alpinestars and Dainese make women's sizes. Vanson has off the rack women's stuff, too, but it won't accept hard armor in the knees, and that stupid 3 piece zipper pants/jacket attachment system is just...stupid. I like Vanson, but it'll be a custom two piece if I get one. Fits better that way and not much more $$$. If I was looking for something less expensive, I'd check out the women's Alpinestars stuff. |

(it really is who ya know, isn't it?) | Yeah.....he's good to me! I have a lot of people to thank for this bike but NH put up with a lot (aka...me bitching and moaning!) to make it happen and has been very patient with me since we brought her home!
Oh...and the bike WAS as good as new until I put her down in the dirt on Friday! Yup....did exactly what I wasn't supposed to and freaked when I didn't think I was going to make the turn. I went right off the edge of the lot into the sand and "gently placed" her on the ground. It's all good...just cracked the casing on the rear directional and learned a valuable lesson from it. That's what parking lot practice is all about right?!? I lifted the bike all by myself and got right back on to try again. I'm proud of that! |

Sorry to hear of the mishap Firefly but that is another good reason it will be an excellant learning bike (no fairing to destroy).

don't worry about dropping it. I dropped mine a week or two ago in a parking garage. laid it down so easy it only got a scratch on the case cover.
