| Getting more comfortable... ...on the roads. I put close to 150 miles on the bike this weekend. No where near what I hope to be doing by the end of the summer, but by far my longest rides yet! Each time I go out I find myself doing something that I'm not happy with, but I'm down to one or two idiotic moves per ride! I've been assured it's newbie stuff and that I'll get better as I go. I am MUCH more comfortable than I was a month ago and loving every second of it! To top it all off....we christened the bike with a .org sticker today! It was a good weekend! |

| Re: Getting more comfortable... Congrats. It's good to hear you're loving it.
My wife is going through the same "growing pains". Sometimes, she's her own worst enemy about her "mistakes". As long as you're recognizing your mistakes, you're getting better.
Keep up the good work and my wife and I hope to see you on the track one day soon. |

| Re: Getting more comfortable... A few track days and your skils advance at an amazing pace. I was Mr. pucker in the canyons before doing only three trackdays. now i feel confident and am learning to be vary smooth. I used to be scarred of alot of corners in the socal canyons and now find myself reminding myself that i am not at the track and i should slow down.
It only gets better and remember to ride at your own pace. if your hard on the breaks all the time when riding on the streat your riding to fast. |

Seriously...I've very happy with how far I've come. I'm going at my own pace and feeling good about the progress. Each new challenge teaches me how to improve the next time, and how to stay safe while I'm at it! |
