Shadow 750 Exhaust

I have a 2006 Honda Shadow 750 I just bought and had the dealer put Cobra drag pipes on it. They sound great but I'm getting alot of back fire when I let up on the throttle. I was told the jets in the carbs need to be replaced to prevent this. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Bring it to a Dynojet service center and have it rejetted. Alternatively Cobra has these ask the dealer about warranty though as it requires drilling some carb plugs.

Re: Shadow 750 Exhaust

You don't need to rejet when installing pipes only. Just drill the mixture screw plugs out. Turn them all the way in and turn them out 2 1/2 turns. If you change the air cleaner assembly. You will need to rejet.
