So, I found a bike in pretty good condition. 2001 Magna (750C), pretty low milage (less than 5K) with leather saddle bags. Looks like it is in nice condition. I feel it is over-priced though.

Kelley Blue Book = $3020
His price = $4500

I'm thinking of going to him, asking for a test ride, and offering $3000 in cash on the spot. Maybe even go up to $3300.

What do you think?

If you get a Magna 2001 with less than $3500 that hasn't been dropped, call yourself a thief because you stole it from him.

I bought a 95 Magna six years ago fo 5k. It had less than 4k on it. I am a daily rider on her and she now has over 36k. She was the best 5k I ever spent.

I would offer 3.5k and see if he will take it.

Thanks. I ended up buying a new bike. A Yamaha VTX1100 classic. I love it. She rides like a champ!
