Only 3 pieces in tool kit for spirit 750 c2??

Bought a 2007 spirit 750 C2 last week-- tool kit came with only 3 pieces-- an allen wrench, a box wrench, and a lower piece of a screwdriver that looks like its to be threaded into a handle that wasn't included.

I read manual and all it says is that an optional larger tool kit is available.

So, to all you C2 owners, is the standard tool kit just a 3 piece one?? When I bought the bike the compartment with the manual and tool kit was empty-- the salesman came back with an AERO manual (same bike except for fenders, he says) , and this 3 piece tool kit. Not happy.

Thanks for any advice!

That's the same junk my new Shadow just came with too. Thankfully, I kept my took kit from my 929 before the salvage truck hauled it off. I needed the spanner to adjust my preload so when my wife rides it, it sits a tiny bit lower. And I max it out when we ride together or I'm hauling my heavy gear on the back.

Sounds like what i got, but I think the screwdriver handle was included. I'll check mine tonight and let you know. Also the manual I got was specific to the C2, not an Aero. There is supposed to be a plastic bag for the manual also although I had to call the dealer and he mailed it to me. The bag is to protect the manual from moisture when you store it inside the side cover on the bike. Congrats on your new ride, I'm lovin' mine!

My dad just bought an 07 Aero and it only had 3 peices in the tool kit. The service manual shows the full kit being an option. You can easily set the preload by hand, the springs aren't too stiff.

Better than the current ST1300 tool kit. Comes with a single 5mm allen wrench and a piece of foam. (Used to access the battery in case you need to jump it.)
