| Re: Lost Keys So you don't have the little metal tag that has your key number written on it, or you didn't write down your key number anywhere? I think it's gonna be tough. Someone forgot their key to their trackbike and had a locksmith come to the track. No luck. He was able to key the helmet lock, but had no luck with the ignition. Might as well check with your local Honda dealer and a locksmith, won't hurt. Good luck! |

| Re: Lost Keys Advice a little late for you, but for anyone else...when you get a new bike (or new to you bike), one of the first things you should do is write the key number in your owner's manual and/or put the little metal tag containing the key number in a safe place. When I bought my first used bike back in '86, the guy at the shop where I bought it told me that, and I never forgot it. |
