V45 Carbs - big project?

Evenin lads, first post...

Thinking of buying a 1984 V45 Magna, where the fellow says the 'carbs are gummed up'.

Can you fellows tell me how big a deal this is for a guy whose taken carbs apart from:
1982 Yamaha Maxim
1991 Suzuki Bandit 400

Are the V4's a frikin nightmare?

It is not a huge deal. You can buy a manual and you can also follow this diagram to help you. It is not the greatest thing out there, but it does show most all of the parts. You They are not real hard, just do one at a time, and watch where everything comes and goes. I just took mine apart, and it wasn't too tough, good luck.
