Nighthawk

Hey guys, I am considering buying this nighthawk 750 from a friend of a friend. The guy who owns the bike is in texas and I want to know the year. I have a pretty good idea that it is a 2002. Is there anyway I could tell if It is a 2002? or any other year? I could take a picture of it if you need to look at it. He is asking $400 for it and It does not run due to no Oil. So basically i would have to put a new engine in it.

Re: Nighthawk

The serial number should tell you what year it is.

Re: Nighthawk

well i bought this bike and i had to charge the battery. When it was charged the bike fired up and is only running on not all cylinders. Probably only 2 cylinders. Hopefully it is something easy.

Re: Nighthawk

How do you know the cylinders arent firing? did you check the outside temp of the cylinder or did you pull the spark plug?
