Kuryakyn hypercharger

The flap on my intake stays open all the time, shouldn't it operate w/engine vacuum? If so, how do I go about hooking it up, or setting to do so?

Re: Kuryakyn hypercharger

Whats a Kuryakyn hypercharger btw?

Not sure if this is what your talking about, but in the airbox of a few bikes (esp the 954/1000RR) there is a flapper in the airbox - a lot of people disconnect them or even remove them (saves weight) as they open and close to help regulate noise levels.

Mods, please move to the cruiser forum.

I think I remember reading somewhere that you must hook up a vacuum hose to the carb somewhere to make it functional. Shadow forums have plenty of info on this.
