CBR 929 Fork oil weight?

Just like the topic says, what weight is called for with the 929 fork oil?

Anyone have recommendations for something other than stock?

Re: CBR 929 Fork oil weight?

assuming you have stock springs:

5wt for lighter rider
7wt for heavier rider
10wt if you want the crap knocked out of you

stock amount is 490cc. Use less if you want less progressive spring rate, especially if you're a lighter rider. Use more oil if you're using too much travel or bottoming. The 929 spring has a progressive rate: starts at ~.7kg/mm and ends at ~1kg/mm fully compressed.

Re: CBR 929RR Rear Spring Specs?

Anyone know the CBR929RR rear spring diameter ID and OD, and free length and coil thickness by chance?
