| On Bike Storage for 1000rr? Tomorrow is the big day to pick up my Silver/Blk 1000rr! I have seen the bike and the lack of trunk.
Outside of a tank bag (which I have), does anyone have any ideas for a low profile, durable, attractive storage solution for phone, wallet, glasses, etc.?
I am thinking the best solution will end up being a piece that replaces the rear seat, but has a aero hump instead of a flat shape.
Ideas are appreciated! |

Ideas are appreciated! | I saw a picture in the latest motorcyclist, dude went cross country on an r1 and had a nice aerodynamic hard shell tailbag, looked like a big rear seat hump cover, but larger. It was strapped to the tail section, even had blue paint to match the r1.I don't think they mentioned the name of it though. |

| Re: On Bike Storage for 1000rr? I have just purchased an "Oxford" tail bag for my 954. It was one of the best made on the market and the best fitting for the pillion seat on the 954. Worth a look.
Here is the web site, just search under Luggage, then Humpback, then Humpback Tailpack2004 http://www.oxprod.com/ |

| Re: On Bike Storage for 1000rr? Ventura will probably have (if they don't already) something for the 1000RR, if you wanted a little rack and bag that wouldn't touch any part of the plastic. Used that on my 929 and it works great. Especially if you want to take a trip, their other bags work very well. |
