2008 1000rr fork revalve?

My 08 forks are in need of a revalve. Ive had a search on here and cant find anything but Im not good at such things.

Has anyone revalved there own forks? Mine have on small bump compliance and are very stiff in high speed comp. Was thinking of drilling a 1mm hole in the cart to help both issues but I have not seen one of these carts out of the fork.

The 1mm hole bypass trick was one we used on the 20mm carts out of Superhawks and Bandits.

I will have to read that later but I did run into issues caused by the top out springs.

Re: 2008 1000rr fork revalve?

The oil lock explains my lack of travel. Will get into the fork next weekend.

Current thoughts are is remove a big shim on the comp, drill a 1mm bleed in the cart and remove the oil lock.
