| Re: Anyone ordered new decals? I was actually just thinking about getting some of the decals for my bike. I want to get rid of the 2 orange decals (CBR on the nose, RR on the rear). Going to do the CBR upfront in White, what color for the rear though? http://www.cbr929rr.com/images/secondlook.jpg
Should I just go for the metalic gray that the 929 is and make that all one color?

| Re: Anyone ordered new decals? Went with the white CBR's, Silver RR's, Silver Honda on the lower fairing. *We'll see how it looks when it's done.... http://www.tapeworks.com/motoimages/1119g.jpeg
This Kit minus the wing shadows, $63 shipped.
PS, call them up when you order, much easier especially if you have color changes. *They are pretty good on the phone.

Use water and dish soap, wet the decals, then use the sliperyness of the water and soap to slide the decal around till your happy with the position, then squeegie the water out from underneath. Usually end up with no air bubbles and no 'whoops, better peel that off and try again' mistakes. I've done it a few times on Car window decals and bike decals, works great. Just clean the hell out of the area 1st.

Really? This works for stickers? I thought it would have an affect on the adhesive. Sounds like a great method if it works, maybe I'll give it a try. Thanks! |

| Re: Anyone ordered new decals? Yeah, just don't put in too much soap, just alittle to make it slipery. Done it a ton of times on various decals and 3m Clear protective tape. Allows you to slide the decal around and then just press it down. Thats how I'll be doing mine shortly.

After: http://www.cbr929rr.com/images/tapew...works-side.jpg
The install went well, I did goof up one part. The 'C' on the right side 'CBR' got screwed up. It's seperate from the rest of the sticker so I just need to order a new decal and replace that one part and I'm golden. You can't tell unless your looking closely, but I'm VERY picky about my bike and it won't do as it is. I like it, was a tricky install, lots of thin little edges that like to get pulled up when you remove the guide tape. Have some water and a squeegie handy, makes a big diffrence.
Close up of the CBR, used a razor blade to get it to match up to the stock decal on the split. http://www.cbr929rr.com/images/tapew...peworksCBR.jpg
The Tail. http://www.cbr929rr.com/images/tapew...eworkstail.jpg
My girlfriend doing her best not to fall off the newly stickered 929rr. I told her she could have it once she fit on it....I think I'm safe for now. http://www.cbr929rr.com/images/tapeworks/kerri929.jpg
