Went real sudden too. Turned that dry rust color within a couple of days. Confirmed it by checking the tension and it's super loose, and I had just adjusted it a couple of rides ago. I guess that 400 miler last Friday is what killed it off.

Good thing I feel a cold coming on, so I can replace it tomorrow.
