 | Re: what happens to PCIII As we all probably know, if one's battery dies the clock reverts to default... flashing 1:00 or whatever it is. Does anyone know what, if anything, happens to the map stored in the PCIII should the battery lose its charge? Is it retained or does the PCIII go to a zero map setting (or whatever)? bush | |

| Re: what happens to PCIII duh....what a dick I am. The answer is in their FAQ'ing FAQ. A: No, all Power Commanders utilize a nonvolatile memory (it does not require constant power to maintain it). The only way a map can be “erased” is to use a computer to load a new one in place of it. |
