| 1000RR, Oh my god I went for a ride yesterday with a mate who picked up the last CBR1000RR I had here. FUK ME. I have an ex supersort race 600RR that I just put back on the road, full arata system, mapped, engine work etc. It was geared to the **** house also. My mate was still running it in, and wasn't going above 8thou, but geesh. I ws flat stick everywhere, just keeping up. We both ride about the same, so it's always a good judge of a bike. We swapped at the start of a set of twisties (Mt Kiera for you aussies) and DAMN. That is THE best bike I have ever ridden barre none. It pulls like a fukin train, it turns withouth even thinking ( I thought the 600RR was like that until I rode the 1000) and is just so easy to fukin ride. I am gob smacked. Anyone who wants to buy a 600RR readu to race, an F4i road bike (now) and/or our SP1 that came 3rd in the Extreme series last year, to fund my 1000RR, please let me know asap. I NEED a CBR1000RR. And when I get it, I'm naming her Chrystal. As in Chrystal Meth, coz it's just so god damn addictive. DAMN. |

| Re: 1000RR, Oh my god Glad to see other people have the same opinion of it.
It's a sick bike. I can't wait to see what proper suspension and mapping does. There is a lot, whole f'in lot of capability being wrapped up in this bike that could be unleashed. They aren't getting well over 200HP out of this motor laboriously. That chassis is built for tons more power, that is why it's so damn stable.

| Re: 1000RR, Oh my god Ah, just unbelievable. Considering the R12 and ZX10's are light switches, I don't know why anyone wouldn't buy the Blade. I was just talking to some guys from the new oz mag "Moto", and they were saying the same thing, ZX10 does FUK ALL below 5 and then WHACK. The magazines dress this up by calling it "exciting". I call it a fukin prik to ride. The R1 is the same except it hits at 7. Like I keep saying, There's nothin liek an easy bike to ride, and they ZX10 and R1 are just that.........nothing like, and easy bike to ride. hahaha |

Got to be really careful though as you dont realise how fast you are going and can come up on bends real quick. I reckon that i am going at least 10kph faster around every bend than i used to on the SP, with the same stability |

Half of the write up was them talking about eachother. I prefer the UK mags because they just get on with it. AMCN reviews are just page fillers. |

| Re: 1000RR, Oh my god Yeaa i am looking forward to the TWO one 1000 cc comparison arriving.
Who needs a hit above 5k when the honda is smoooothe all the way. Good thing is that Thorsten in Germany has one and is starting to look at mods, what he did to his SP was a work of art Thread |

Now that PCIII+Mori pipe has been properly mapped the engine is just too sweet. If it is giving you wood on street make sure you have enough freeplay on leathers for track
Douh, just remembered I have a trackday tomorrow |

Its' almost like I have a speedo issue, it reads 80MPH but feels like 60MPH. Reverse what the recall is for. |

I had a blast on the 1000rr at Eastern Creek, but..... like everyone else I am not going to let the magazine journo's or anyone else tell me what is the best....gotta ride them and find out myself ! By the time I make up my mind there might even be some smokin' deals out there !! |
