Re: 1000RR Flapper Valve

That looks really hard. Can I pay someone to do it?

Re: 1000RR Flapper Valve

Please let us know when you have pics and detail about removing the entire assembly. At that point, it's coming off

When I install the full Ti Sato System I will remove the entire assembly & document the procedure.

Re: 1000RR Flapper Valve

In the Dynojet text the author mentions the PAIR valve that allmost all Hondas are equipped with. We removed it from a friends TL1000R (the valvepump and hoses was a hefty 1kg!!!) The TLR stopped banging in the exhaust...;-)
The PAIR valve push air in the exhaust to lean out the exhaustgas to make it "enviromental", a common trick thats used in the car business for years. It also fools the fullrangelambda from the Dynojetcomputer to think the bike is lean and then of course gives the wrong reading to lean the mixture even more...just mental instead of enviromental

The question; Does anybody know if the 1KRR got one?
