929 fork oil level??

929 fork oil level??

Will be changing fork springs and oil next weekend - whats the stock fork oil level?
my search came up empty for the 929

I don't have a clue. But a suggestion would be to call Dan Kyle at Kyle Racing. He is a fork guy. I'm sure he can tell you.

I believe stock is 90 mm below the top of the tube with the tube compressed. Several people ran as low as 125 mm, but I ended up with excellent results at 110 mm (5w Showa racing suspension fluid).

I use 10 weight and 70mm from the top, fork compressed and NO spring. Stock for a 954 is 73 mm, however, I have about 80 pounds on the "average" weight rider.
