Re: 1000RR locking rear tire?

Sounds like a pile of BS to me. Besides once should always have a very close relationship with one's clutch lever. I know that I had a problem when I test rode the 929 the first time. The rear wheel *suddenly* locked up cause I had lazy foot from the fooking VFR I was riding at the time. Sounds like something straight out of the Max Biaggi Excuse Book.

I think that if your bike was burning 3 quarts of oil in 2000 miles you would know something was wrong. Besides, wouldn't you hit the kill switch of you saw your oil pressure light was on?

Yeah, but if it happens to you in the middle of a corner, you ARE going to eat ****, clutch or no clutch.... Hopefully this is only an isolated problem...

I'm actually partial to "Spaceballs - the flamethrower". But I find it a hard line to just drop into a conversation...

Could this have anything to do with the 600RR Recall?

Re: 1000RR locking rear tire?

Found it:

http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/pr...odel_year=2003

But that just makes the rear brake hard/impossible to use. Not locking it up... And if you're a fair-weather rider, it should never corrode anyway.
