| Re: LionBlade finally ready.... Hi,
*I finally got my blade ready (until the next winter )... what do you like?
*The goodies include full Micron Serpent, cold air intake, Power Commander 3R, crash bungs, seat done, special painting, 520 chain conversion, 45 teeth rear sprocket, Öhlins steering damper, yellow dial kit, shift light, Ermax undertray, rear swingarm and rear footrests powdercoated into black color, chain protector, double bubble screen, and some other bits here and there...
*I'm very happy with the power - the dyno showed +12.7 rwhp over the standard (same bike, same dyno). I have done couple of track days and it's really flying *- I just wish that the driver would be up to the bike some day.
*I hope you like the pics...
* *Regards,

| Re: LionBlade finally ready.... Thanks for your nice comments...
I bought the CAI set from Brittish company called Motopower. You can check their website: http://www.motopower.co.uk/Products/...s.php?catid=12
It's basically just two plastic ducts, so I had to cut fairing myself. I actually used some fibre class and plastic pipe to make an air route from CAI ducts to the air box. It worked out pretty well.
The parts were unpainted (check the attached pic), so I had them painted in Germany at Juergen Mohrman (http://www.juergen-mohrmann.de/). He made really beatiful job - so the parts are not carbon fibre, just painted...but very well. I had also the original plastic covers painted, so it looks more like one piece air intake system.
The mesh for the CAI ducts is self made and glued - I cut it form a bicyckle front basket.
Regards,
Jake |
