| Re: How many miles on your fireblade I had 49,800 kms on the old 929 and NEVER had a problem with it, I had the valve clearances checked 3 times and it never even needed to be shimmed changed the plugs 2 or 3 times(iridium is the way to go) and other than oil changes I did nothing...awsome reliability and great performance too
I only have around 6000kms on the new 1000rr and I have had the C.C.T. changed as well as the speedo/tach, but other than that it has been great too...gotta love a honda |

| Re: How many miles on your fireblade Not all 'Blades, but...17k on the F2, had a voltage regulator go south. 7k on the 929 no problems, just over 5k on the baby RR and no problems. |

| Re: How many miles on your fireblade 7K on the 1000RR only tires and gas
20K and 20 years on the Ascot engine still runs great need to adjust the valves and it was laid down pre-sheep and the clutch tang broken on the side case (planning on replacing it before it is not possible) also needs new brake lines, fork seals and rear shocks soon.

| Re: How many miles on your fireblade 28k miles on a CBR 929 and the horn didnt work. Every honda I ever owned had a problem with a button on a switch going out. Other than that they worked very well.
The turnsignal spring on my tuono went out at 500 miles too.. so maybe its just me. |

| Re: How many miles on your fireblade 28k on my 1995. Had to replace entire clutch assembly, but that was mostly my fault. Other than that, no really big issues except for the fuel pump. Checked valve clearence about 2k ago and was spot on. |

| Re: How many miles on your fireblade 27,000 miles on mine...or close to. I actually don't ride it that much, just on the odd weekend. I've hardly turned a wrench on the thing. Can't get much simpler. Just change my tires...multiple! Put on the full Arata, Sato rearsets and some small other things. This season...well I have a new Ohlins shock ready and waiting (so can't wait) and considering the golden forks as well, but probably just send in the stock ones to "Dan" and let him get 95% of the way to Ohlins. (please, someone correct me if I'm wrong there with that assumption). Let's open up that can of worms...should I send my forks in, or should I lay it down for some Ohlins forks? Only those with experience need apply. |

| Re: How many miles on your fireblade 58,000 miles on my '01 929.
- Spark plug went AWOL taking the threads with it at 41k, so I pulled the head. Noted that some of my cam lobes were worn down. Parts were covered by warranty.
- Mid pipe cracked.
- Currently on the second chain / sprocket.
- Lost count of tires long ago.
- Had to replace the tail lights a couple times. |

| Re: How many miles on your fireblade I had 31k before I sold it.
Valve cover gasket leaked (inexpensive replacement)
Midpipe also cracked
Regulator rectifier blew up
other than that, engine ran perfect. |
