BTW, don't get the cheapest 520 conversion out there, as it is unlikely to last. I purchased mine from Dan Kyle. kyleusa.com. It was around $250.00 shipped.
I agree, i've got this on my 929 and couldn't be more happy, if your a bigger bloke like me (105kgs) you can be a little less"cautious" with the throttle as the front wont reach for the skies quite so easily. I haven't lost much top end and only lost about 10/15 kms in fuel economy but that may be due to doing wheelies, which before anyone poos their panties are legal in Australia (as long as there are no cops around.)

Yup, it is the same in the US but in your heart you know you are doing something wrong even if nobody sees you do it.

Re: Chain/sprocket recommendations?

My 929 went 170mph on a dyno making 135hp. Unless the dyno's speed measurement was off I don't see why the bike couldn't do it in the real world. But that's simply conjecture, and that's all it will ever be because I don't have any plans to actually try it.

Re: Chain/sprocket recommendations?

Well, on a dyno you don't have wind resistance and other such factors.

Re: Chain/sprocket recommendations?

I wonder how much hp it takes to over come the wind at that speed.
