Kids this is your brain on drugs...
Chain, if I may offer some serious advice...you have to stay out of the evidence room man. *You're going to end up in some serious sh!t otherwise. *If you're hooked, get help.
Think of the bright side, in rehab you can work on your photography skills and rid yourself of the silver/faster delusion at the same time!
If you need someone to talk to, I'm here fo...well... someone here might listen.
Oh yeah, nice pic too.

ViciousRR : Are you a part time a amateur photographer? *Just wonder since you always have these crazy angles and ideas for taking pics.
| I'd say I'm an amateur photography enthusiast, but I'm no expert. To me, what taking good photographs is all about is getting out of the 'snapshot' frame of mind and actually seeing the picture before you take it.
In my own words, my simple rules for taking quality photographs: 1) Always be aware of your light. It needs to be behind you (more or less) in order to bring out the most detail in the bike, but be mindful of your shadow. 2) Money-shot lighting is the soft, golden light cast in early morning or, preferably, late evening (right before sunset). Super bright sunlight, particularly in the heat of the day, washes out your bike (not to mention that the light will be coming from the overhead, not ideal). 3) Driveway and parking lot shots usually suck. There's too much in the background to distract the end-viewer from the subject matter. Consider what's behind your bike. Mail boxes, parked vehicles, a car coming down the street, oil stains on the pavement, light poles, etc all conspire to take away from the quality of the image. 4) Water and other scenery is sometimes a neat back ground for a bike photograph, but my favorite back drop when taking pictures of a motorcycle is a ribbony piece of pavement, bar none.
Check out the shot below. It incorporates alot of what I'm talking about...
There's no obvious 'pimple' in the picture which takes away from the subject matter; the starboard side of the bike is basked in light; there are various color and texture differences in the picture (the shiny black bike, the green switchgrass, the crushed gravel, the pristine road surface); and there is an interesting stretch of rolling, curving two-lane leading your eye away from the bike and off into the distance. http://members.fireblades.org/chains...s/IMG_2195.JPG
I don't know if this helps (or if anyone really cares), but for what it's worth, that's what I do to take good bike pics. |

| Thanks for the kudo on the photo.
Actually, I ride as much as family, career, union biz and other duties allow. Typically I get ~6,000 miles in per year in my home state's normal 6 month riding season. I just combine my love for bikes with an interest in photography - my digital camera is either in my trunk or tank bag every time I go out. |

Our agency is large enough (750 sworn serving a population base of 400,000) that normal, calls-for-service cruisers don't have radar. Supervisors (such as myself) don't have radar either. I supervise a crew of nine 'grunt' police officers who respond to 911 emergencies and conduct preventive patrol in the downtown business district during the day shift. We have a separate Traffic Unit that handles all the speeding enforcement throughout the city. Smaller agencies aren't this specialized. |

| I've been a cop for 15 years. There have been times in my career that I've had radar.
Besides, there are plenty of violations out there beyond speed infractions.
I've never chased a bike over 100, but I did have one pursuit out on the highway run 120 mph sustained speeds (carjacking suspect). |
