 | My New Bundle of Joy Well, 1000cc's of joy that is. Just picked up the Silver 06 1KRR. Thought I'd post some first impressions for anyone considering these bikes. 1)  It's a touch ... quick.2) It's mostly what you'd expect - incredibly well balanced but with surprisingly smoother acceleration (still in break in phase) than my old 954 or 600RR. Yup, that's it. Two points. It's very much what you'd expect in most ways (at least so far). But that's what I love about Honda. Given the price I got it at ($10,600 out the door) I'm certainly not complaining. Incidentally my first insurance quote was from Progress (USAA now outsources their m/c policies to them unless you were grandfathered in with no lapse in coverage) - the quote, $6980. No, that's not for my lifetime...that's for one year. Statefarm did me well at $86/mo. for pretty much the same coverage. Happy to be back - Symon | |

| Re: My New Bundle of Joy I'm grandfathered. Unfortunately, my wife isn't. However, when she contacted Progressive directly, they gave her a much lower quote than what USAA quoted. |

| Re: My New Bundle of Joy Day Two Report: No longer like the bike...I love it. I'm now officially obsessed with this thing. It's amazing. I think I'm going to marry it. And have little blades - dozens and dozens of little blades together. If you'll excuse me, I have to go get my bike drunk now. |

| Re: My New Bundle of Joy Congrats. great job on the price a year ago i couldn't get a zx6rr for that price cash. Wow i have usaa and pay 400 every six for full. i've had them for 4 months. progressive sucks assssss. |
