Error Code, or just normal?

The FI light comes on like the other when I first start up the 929. When all the others turn off, it stays on for about a second or so, then shuts off. No blinking, doesn't turn on again.

I don't assume this is normal, since it has been doing it all the time lately, and I don't remember it from when I first had the bike.

Any suggestion? The local shop wants $25 just to wheel it in the door to get looked at.

Dave -

The MIL (malfunction indicator lamp) will tell you what it's got to say with the sidestand down and the engine off, key on, and the stop switch set to Run.

If it ain't blinking, just ride it.

I think my FI light stays on a bit longer than the others, too, so I'd say it's normal.

Normal. My 954 does it too.

Mine does that too...stays on a bit longer. I took note of that on my last ride for some odd reason.
