cassette type gearbox

Hello ok this is my problem I want to buy 2006 1000RR but it has a Cassette-type gear box they say it a good thing but the funny thing a bought it the 2007 went back like 2004 and older I went to honda.com check spec and check 2 time I am not sure now I want one be couse if it was a good thing Y did the stop it in the 06 I am look for much more info on it and Il,d to have microfich pic ot see what it realy is I want to MC MART's Honda Street Bike Parts Finder it the only that not there can some one help me and tell me more about it Thanx

a six-speed cartridge-type gearbox that can be removed from the motor without the motor being pulled from the frame, just like a true race bike

I don't know what you are asking, but the 06 has a six-speed cartridge-type gearbox that can be removed from the motor without the motor being pulled from the frame. The 07 also has a cassette-type gearbox.
