| Re: Pics of breaking line instalation Hi.
Are you saying that you want to fit aftermarket brake lines?
Sorry, I do not have pictures, but fitting is simple. You should have new copper or stainless steel crush washers supplied with the kit. Firstly, you drain all the old brake fluid (protect the paint by covering it with a rag) by connecting a silicone hose to the bleed nipple, opening it a half turn and pumping the brake lever until all the fluid comes out. You can also use a syringe to suck the fluid out of the master cylinder.
Then use a 12mm wrench or socket to remove the banjo bolt (the bolt that holds the line on). Do this at both ends. Take your new line and insert the banjo bolt in, but put a new crush washer on each side of the line fitting. In order, it will look like.....bolt-washer-fitting-washer-caliper.
Tighten the bolt to the required torque. Fit the line at the master cylinder in the same way as you did with the caliper end. The same process is repeated for the rear brake lline.
Getting fluid into the line can be difficult. Fill the master cylinder to the indicator line with DOT4 brake fluid. Attach a silicone hose to the bleed nipple on the caliper. Open the nipple a half turn. Pump the brake lever many times...maybe 20 times. Did any fluid come out? If not try the process again. When fuild finally comes out, you need to properly bleed the brake system so as to remove all the air bubbles from the brake system.
If this does not work, you will need to get a vacuum bleeder such as a 'Mityvac', or one powered by an air compressor. This sucks the fluid through the brake system instead of you pumping it through.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!
