| 2007 Tri-color..yummy!!(may contain boring blabbering) Went for a ride today and ended up at our friendly local (well as local as can be) Honda toystore. They had both the 2007 limited edition Repsol and HRC tri-color blades <<Click for desktop pic stupid) sitting outside.
For the first time in years (discounting the first time I laid eyes on the 1098) I actually stopped and turned back to go look at a jap bike (no offense). That HRC is some awfully sweet eyecandy, and to add to my distress someone wanted to buy my bike on the spot....which of course set my mind racing...added to that the salesman smelling a deal...
Easily the best looking bike out there today, and easily in the same class style wise as the new red and white MV or Duc tri-colore.
No, I did not bring it home, therefore I am sleeping on the bed tonight. But it is the first Jap bike in a very long time I REALLY lust after. Nuff said.

I think they had a similar color scheme for the 929? Maybe I'm just getting old and senile |

| Works for me because if we did get that edition in the U.S. I'd have to sell my current bike, and buy it.

| Re: 2007 Tri-color..yummy!!(may contain boring blabbering) The one that I really don't have a thing for is the Repsol Edition. I like the overall idea but I can't handle the orange, especially on the rims. After seeing Sime's bike nothing looks that great anymore.

Hate to burst your bubble, but the US doesn't hold exclusive license to flag colours. Our flag is red, white and blue and we're patriotic about our flag too!
For what it's worth, perhaps you didn't know it, but I am a US citizen - so I do get "the 'states thing". It's not like I'm an outsider or anything!
Slickwill, thanks for the compliment mate! Cheers |
