Hi there, am new to forum with my recently purchased fireblade trackbike which i love.

As always with bikes I get troubles though, the FI light and red warning light have been on for a while but no probs until trackday last sunday when the bike cut out mid session. I ended up running the battery flat by trying to restart it. when back in pits i checked there was enough fuel - ok, charged up battery - ok and the bike hesitated to start and now frequently starts badly and intermittently cuts out on idle.

I bought a brand new battery to elimate that side of things and still poor starting and cutting out. i have put the natural idle up pretty high to stop it from cutting out at idle. I know this is not the way to go about it but i have trackday this weekend so i really wanna get out there.

I have booked the bike in for a diagnostic check but the earliest i could book it in was april. Has anyone had or heard of a problem like this or know if its a common thing to happen? A mechanic i know guessed it may be the throttle control sensor?

Any help would be great as i cant relax when i know i have a poorly bike out there. cheers

You need to see which Fault code your getting to determine what's wrong...
